HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND CHALLENGER 7 SCIENCE EDUCATION FUND

Description of Award:

This award was established by workers at Hamilton Sundstrand in memory of the astronauts of Challenger 7. The award is made to a graduate or undergraduate student in elementary or secondary education who is committed to science education. Among the criteria to be considered for selection are past academic achievement and demonstration of potential for future academic and professional accomplishment.

• Undergraduate or graduate student in the Neag School of Education with a primary interest in science education at the elementary or high school level.
