The Center for Education Policy Analysis (CEPA) is housed within the Department of Educational Leadership in the Neag School of Education. The mission of CEPA is to inform educational leaders on issues related to the development, implementation and consequences of educational policies. CEPA provides assistance to schools, agencies, and organizations through policy research and evaluation. Through the sponsorship of conferences and forums, CEPA brings together key leaders to discuss important policy topics. CEPA is supported by Neag faculty and graduate students who specialize in education policy and policy analysis. Recent CEPA projects include a multi-year research effort investigating CommPACT Schools in Connecticut, a research partnership with the Magnet Schools of America, and an evaluation of CSDE Bureau of Educational Equity programming. CEPA Associates are highly trained in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and are experienced policy analysts and program evaluators.
