Rachel played basketball and softball for Castleton State College in Vermont where she received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Criminal Justice. She has a master's degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Southern California where she also played softball. She has coached basketball at the college level for 12 years and also worked in athletic administration for 8 years. Future plans are to teach Sport Sociology at the college level.
