Husky Sport - Staff

Leah Williams is a former student-athlete from Brookfield, Connecticut who participated on the UConn Women’s Track and Field team for four years. She was a pole vaulter and served as tri-captain her senior year. Leah graduated in May 2006 with a major in Coaching and Administration. She is now currently working towards a master’s degree in Sport Management. As Community Service Chair for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), she was nominated to attend the NCAA Leadership Conference in May 2005. Leah received the Director of Athletics Scholar-Athlete Award for attending this conference and her contributions with SAAC. She currently acts as Dr. Jennifer Bruening's Teacher's Assistant with the Service Learning class, organizing all hours volunteered and finalizing commitments between organizations and volunteers. Although this will be her first year working with Husky Sport and the Anderson Center program, she hopes to use her leadership skills when working with the children in Hartford.
