Husky Sport values its growing partnership with the City of Hartford through the Department of Health and Human Services and the Parks and Recreation Department.   The Husky Sport program for adolescent girls at the Anderson Center began as a pilot study at the request of the City of Hartford and will continue into the foreseeable future as a result of the financial support and cooperation of the City of Hartford.   Husky Sport, as well as the City, believes that it is important to teach Hartford youth how to live healthier, more active lives.   Husky Sport and the City have partnered to make it possible for more youth in Hartford to better their lives as Hartford citizens using sport as the vehicle.
