Applying to the Neag School of Education
Athletic Training Applications
The Athletic Training Education major is a competitive and selective academic program that prepares students for a professional career in the field of Athletic Training.
- Students apply for admission during their third semester at UConn.
- Applications are due November 1 for spring admission (we admit once per year).
- Students must enroll in EKIN 2100, 2110 and 3100 during the fall semester they are applying for admission.
- Transfer students must apply separately to UConn and the Neag School of Education.
- Students are encouraged to contact Dr. Stephanie Mazerolle, Director, Entry-Level Athletic Training Education at stephanie.mazerolle@uconn.edu for any additional information.
To apply:
1. Assemble your application materials in electronic format:
• Three letters of reference
• Personal statement
• A resume of not more than two pages
• Signed Health Waiver (page 2)
• Signed ATEP Technical Standards document
2. Complete the electronic application at http://sis.education.uconn.edu:
3. Mail the following materials, in one completed packet, to the Neag School of Education:
• Official transcripts of all non-UCONN collegiate work completed to date*
