Applying to the Neag School of Education

Graduate Programs

Graduate Certificate Program in Program Evaluation

To apply:

1. Admission requirements include an earned Baccalaureate degree in education or a related field, with a minimum of 2.8 upper division undergraduate grade point average or 3.0 graduate grade point average or current graduate status.   Participants are expected to have an interest or experience working with program planning, development, or evaluation, as well as current involvement in a project suitable for program evaluation field experience.

2. Prerequisites include access to appropriate computer facilities for data management and analysis, and applied work in such fields as educational or health policy, school reform, underachievement, mathematics and/or science education, exercise, health promotion and disease prevention, technology use in schools, literacy, gifted and talented education, social welfare, etc.  

3. Mail the following materials, in one completed packet, to the address below:

5. A faculty mentor will be assigned to each student upon admission to the GCPPE, to guide their program and assist them with their plan of study. The plan of study for the GCPPE will be completed by the student in coordination with each student's faculty mentor.
