Maryclaire Sullivan Capetta
Clinical Instructor


Maryclaire Sullivan Capetta P.T., M.S.P.T., C.L.T.-L.A.N.A. is a Physical Therapist and Clinical Instructor at the Nayden Rehabilitation Clinic. Prior to joining the university in 2007, she worked in outpatient rehabilitation at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT. She received a B.S. in Allied Health in 2003, a M.S. in Physical Therapy in 2004 from the University of Connecticut and is currently working towards a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, Florida. She earned a certification in manual therapy from the University of St. Augustine in the Summer 2009. She is a board certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Lymphology Association of North America and recieved primary training through the Norton School of Lymphology. Her clinical and educational interests include neuromuscular rehabilitation, lymphedema management and manual therapy. She has served on the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors since January of 2007 and is currently the Chair of the Eastern District.
