Internship in Program Evaluation - Supervision
For the internship program to work optimally, the student interns need effective supervision.   Each student will have a faculty advisor who is available to both the student and the sponsoring agency. The agency will be responsible for assigning a supervisor/contact person for the intern, in order to oversee the intern(s) and discuss relevant issues as they arise. The faculty advisor, school/organization supervisor and the student intern will meet prior to beginning the internship to review and sign agreement on the internship plan, and to establish a means of formal or informal communication. Guidelines for supervision will be established and agreed upon by all three parties involved prior to initiation of the internship experience.
