Graduate Certificate in Program Evaluation
The Neag School of Education's Graduate Certificate Program in Program Evaluation (GCPPE) is designed for professionals and graduate students currently working in or with formal or informal learning environments (schools, businesses, health centers, non-profits, educational or community organizations), and who have or plan to have responsibility for evaluation of educational or community-based programs and services. The objectives of the GCPPE are to improve the capacity of individuals and organizations to (a) plan and conduct evaluations (evaluation practice) and (b) make efficient use of evaluation results in policy decisions related to the betterment of programmatic offerings to their clientele (evaluation use).

A minimum of 14 credits is required to attain the Certificate. All courses are currently offered at the Storrs campus. Our program description, plan of study, and application for admission is available below and on the links to the left of this screen.

Completion of certificate course credits will be considered transferable to a graduate degree program at the University of Connecticut in Educational Psychology: Measurement, Evaluation and Assessment, and may be transferable to other programs as well. Contact your program of interest for information on course transfer (degree programs require a separate application and admission process).
