Research Interests:
Andrew's thesis research is still under preliminary construction, but his interests lie primarily within them realm of metacognition and learning-optimization, with some attention to the underlying mechanisms, and practical applications, of these concepts.
Professional Background:
Andrew Cutter is enrolled as a graduate student in the Cognition & Instruction program within the University of Connecticut's Educational Psychology department. Andrew has achieved a B.S. in Psychology from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), with heavy study in Physics, Mathematics, and Philosophy. Before coming to UConn, Andrew worked in the University of Rochester Sleep & Neurophysiology Research Laboratory as their Technical Director. Prior to working within UofR's primary insomnia laboratory, Andrew also worked in the Visual Perception Laboratory at RIT.

Andrew currently works as a full-time GA for the Global Ed II project (http://www.globaled.uconn.edu/GlobalEdII/), under the tutelage of Scott Brown.
