    Professional Background:
    Mariya (Masha) Yukhymenko is a PhD student in Educational Psychology, Cognition and Instruction. She holds a half-time graduate assistant position with the Department of Educational Psychology. Mariya got her M.A degree in August 2009 as a Fulbright scholar and stayed within the same program. Her Specialist and B.A. degree is in Physical Education, Choreography, and Health Studies from the University of Ukraine. Her current research interests are: the GlobalEd Project, impact of globalization and technology on education, academic motivation, and academic misconduct of students. Some of Mariya's hobbies include research, statistics, photography, capoeira, and yoga.
