Although my career path has taken me away from academia and into private
business, I have found the skills that I developed while serving as a consultant
in the UConn Laboratory for Sport Management and Sociology to be invaluable in
the corporate world. I work at a very high level within my organization and
frequently collaborate with corporate leaders on key organizational and industry
initiatives.
These are very successful, accomplished individuals, many of whom
hold MBAs from some of the most revered business schools in the country. The
unique and differentiated value that I bring to this collection of people are
the critical thinking and analytical skills I developed and honed while serving
as a member of the Laboratory for Sport Management and Sociology.
I have found
these skills to be paramount in driving sound business decisions that are both
market focused and fiscally responsible. I'm confident that the intellectual
foundation I built during my years in the Laboratory will continue to serve me
