Doctoral Program in Adult Learning

Purpose:
Learners advance the quality of adult learning through innovative research.

Coursework:
Includes 30 - 45 credits of coursework in adult learning, related fields (especially those of interest to the student), research methods, and data analysis.

Major Tasks:
The Doctoral Program includes coursework, comprehensive exams, a qualifying paper, research proposal, and dissertation.

Time to Complete The Program:
On average, students complete the program in five to seven years (part or full time).
