Case Technologies to Enhance Literacy Learning (CTELL)  

CTELL is a five-year collaborative research project funded with a $5.5 million grant from the National Science Foundation. Using a unique case-study approach to improve pre-service teacher education and early literacy learning, video of K-3 classrooms delivered over the Internet, are used to demonstrate research-based principles of effective practice. Dr. Donald Leu, the John and Maria Neag Chair in Literacy and Technology, is a co-investigator with colleagues at three other universities.
